Best Winter Riding Gloves

I need a new pair and have some holiday $$$$

Any recommendations? It is COOOLLLLDDD here in CT.

During the winter I generally ride my single speed and fixed gear bikes. Since I don’t need to shift I wear some heavy duty 100% wind-block and fleece-lined OR (Outdoor Research) mittens.

Mittens will always keep your hands warmer than gloves - no matter how well insulated. The problem is shifting - if you need the full range of gears at your disposal then mittens might not work but for single speed riding it works perfectly.

Pearl Izumi lobster mittens are great. The warmest I have used, sometimes too warm and I need to take lighter assos gloves for when my hands start to sweat!

I really like the Craft Split Finger Glove. Hands can get too warm at times but you can take out the liner and shifting is no problem.

I think that when Craft makes it, it is the best. Check these out, from coldest to warmest:
