In terms of prime time shows, I’d say the Parks and Rec and 30Rock themes were pretty good.
Technically I think Sopranos started last century, but had most of its run in this one, so that probably qualifies.
Probably not my favorite song, but I liked what they did with the theme for The Wire, where it was the same song, different recordings for each season. That seemed to fit well with the arc of the show, where there was continuity across the show but each season focused on a different aspect of Baltimore.
Yeah, lots of great songs here. I’ll add one composer, Hannes De Maeyer, who did both the theme for the UK remake of Professor T and the Flemish original.
