I have a Nordic Track C1750. Had it for 2 years now and use it 5x week in the winter and 2/3x a week in the summer. It has held up well. I think it is reasonable. Right now priced at $1500, but usually there is a sale for $200 off or a coupon code.
Basically if you are really going to use it, try to get the most CHP for your buck. This one is 3.8. The more horsepower, the stronger the motor, the longer it will last with regular use.
Pay the extra few bucks to have them set it up if you are putting in the basement or somewhere difficult. Unless you have some really nice (and strong) friends.
