Any feedback on the best MP3 swim goggles you have tried? Thanks.
I like/use the waterproofed ipod shuffle from swimman.com. Same form factor as a 2nd generation shuffle (so it easily clips to your goggle strap). Pair it with some waterproof earbuds (ex. H2O Audio Surge…make sure you get buds that plug your ear canal) and not only are you good to go for swimming, but the shuffle can easily be used w/o goggles for running, biking, etc.
I’ve never had luck with any ear phone type systems, but the SwimP3 from Finis works great.
2x on the SwimMP3 from Finis. My only complaint is I have a tough time getting it connected to my googles and not twisted.
X2 on the swimman.com. Get their headphones as well, the sound quality is amazing.

This is pretty big complaint for me actually – I find the SwiMp3 takes me forever to get on properly and is never particularly comfortable.
If you already have an iPod Shuffle you can go with this H2O Audio case for $100.

PRO:
You can already use your iPod (or a new shuffle is pretty cheap) that you can use anywhere.
You really don’t even feel it.
CON:
It takes a few tries to get the right ear bud size dialed in. They come with several bud sizes. Once you get it right the sound is pretty good.
I don’t have SwiMP3 experience though, so I cannot say which one is better.
Well the sound is good. The issues with the goggles are probably more user (me) issues.
I have a heck of time keeping my goggles dry because of shape face.
I have only used three times and think that I will get better with time connecting them.
I have used both the swimp3 and h2o audio case.
The h2o audio case is 100% amazing and have used it for months without trouble. The earbuds fully cancl out all othe sound so you can really tune in an lose yourself in the music.
I cannot, however say the same about swimp3. I feel that the bone carrying the vibration of the music is all a gimmick. The only way I could get it to work was to turn the volume almost all the way up and only the higher pitched sounds were heard so the music quality sounded very poor. However, this could just be a bad experience to a great product.
Hope this helps some,
