Best Running Shoes for Heavy Sweaters?

during my long runs, my shoes are soaking wet with sweat. What are the best running shoes that do not hold a lot of water?

seems a bizarre situ but what the heck…

IMHO my Adistar Comps have done a great job draining water…in fact, on inspection the uppers of the entire Adidas line of racing flats (Adistar & Adizero variants) appear to be constructed of very pourous materials. not saying they’re any better than others as i haven’t been tempted to look elsewhere (yet).

Saucony type-As (apropos name) have a central built in drainage holes/system as they are made to be put on with wet feet. They are a pretty minimal shoe, but great for racing.

The insole on the type A has hundreds of tiny holes and the sole has several big holes. the upper is very well ventilated as well.

Nike makes a few models with perf’d soles AND my Asics Gel Magic racers have perf’d soles as well.

Its not the shoe - its the socks. I do loop courses because I am a very heavy sweater and need to reload the bottle and I used to change insoles and socks during the pit stops - until I found Sole socks. Now I might be squishing by 8 miles but the tootsies feel great all the way. They are tough to get on when your feet are wet but are well worth the effort in an IM.
