Best Race hydration systems for the IM run?

Looking for a way to carry water on my next ironman run, what are the best systems out there ?

On the pro side i have seen Lionels using some camelback thing to store full size bottles and others like Andy potts use the quick flasks but both look a bit daft when running.

anyone got a good suggestion other than using on course nutrition ?

whatever you’re most comfortable with and train with will probably be the best for you

yeah the aid stations are pretty close for IM branded events - don’t really need to bring a hydration system

This. And really, any other option is over thinking it. You can easily train to drink every mile in training.

I use a Nathan Speeddraw, which I am quite happy with.

Is that a ultra running harness type thing? I saw a fewthat distributed the weight all over so it felt weightless and didnt bounce…nice for training

No, it’s just a handheld water bottle. What you’re referring to are hydration vests; Solomon, Camelback or USWE are examples of brands that sell them.
