What’s the best powder to put in your shoes for running during a triathlon? I’ve tried a few powders, just curious in what works best. I usually wear socks for 1/2 iron or higher–5k = nothing, > 5k - 1/2, powder.
I use the powder for anything up to the 1/2 - it works fantastic which means no hot spots and no blisters.
Two Toms teflon powder. Stuff is gold.

.
X3 on the 2Toms.
I used to spray a few puffs of baby powder in T2 to help get the socks on as well as cut down on friction (unfortunately I still got blisters). Now, I just put some 2Toms in my socks, shake, and they’re ready to go. The socks are just as easy to slip on and more importantly, I had no blisters or hotspots during my last half. Rappstar’s right. Stuff IS gold.
uncut coke. You’ll never feel the race.

Ditto this.
Baby powder in my bike shoes (super easy to slip on over damp feet) as well as my running socks & shoes.
Instead of powder I started smearing chamois cream in the hot spot areas of my shoes - has worked quite well. David K
I bike and run sockless at all distances.
I put BodyGlide on my Zoots, and nothing on my Louy-G’s.
