Best Place to find a used P5 for sale?

I’ve tried the classifieds here as well as craigslist and Facebook

Is there a website similar to autoahopper to find used bikes for sale?

eBay.

One of the nicest P5 I’ve seen on front page of ST classified right now. Killer price too.

Also look at triandsellit on facebook.

There are 5 used P5’s on Pink Bike…

Just sent you a pm. I have two p5s looking to sell. 56,54.

It’s a little older than what I am looking for

But thank you anyways

What size?

56cm

Thought I was a 54 so I bought that size.

Uggg. Lesson learned

Wondering what it is about it that is “too small”?.. that can’t be fixed more easily than buying a new one.

I have seen quite a few of the Candy Cane bikes (that’s what I call first issue) up here in barely used condition. Cheap too! Almost want to get one and do it up in Celeste**. Original paint scheme is a bit horrid.

The Waterline (that’s what I call the 2nd issue) bikes seem more rare. Like that paint style more.

PS** there is somebody on youtube that did that. Looks killer.

Oh here’s an example - should I pick it up? Candy Cane special, doesn’t have the 6 fork…I bet I can swing it for 2 & 1/2 bills CAD

"Cervelo P5 barely ridden. not been used in 3 years. Bought off on the Ironman dream and reality set in. Like new. Carbon Fiber Rotor Cranks. 3T aero bars etc, 56cm. Will sell with stock wheels only for $3000. Firm"

Thank you

Have you shipped a bike from Canada to US?

Is it difficult?!

I was actually looking to buy one myself as another project.

But I have shipped from here.

A bike is big enough so it can’t go post. UPS Ground will take it ~ about $300 or so. A bike box is required and packing it up which takes hours or a shop to complete.

Patience is always a good thing when shopping for bikes. Wouldn’t you want the 6 fork vs the 3 ?

Setup a saved search on Ebay for say “Cervelo P5” and use the minus operator to remove any thing like say a size you are not interested in (ie. -48cm") and let the results hit your email. A good friend just bought a Cervelo P5 on eBay. Couldn’t believe the price he paid (low) and couldn’t believe the price he sold another one for (high).

There is a page called “Stevebay” on Facebook. Dylan Delacruz has 2 P5s posted for sale there. Both size 56.

I went and looked at /rode this bike today - a P5-3

*Cervelo P5 barely ridden. not been used in 3 years. Bought off on the Ironman dream and reality set in. Like new. Carbon Fiber Rotor Cranks. 3T aero bars etc, 56cm. Will sell with stock wheels only for $3000. Firm" *

Had the cash with me but the thing was a dusty, ugly beast and I struggled to envision the potential of it - for my P5 project. It just seemed all really OLD. Actually rode very nicely, the P5 is a more stout frame than I remembered. The 1st gen SRAM red chrome groupo, bar setup, saddle, pedals and wheels were basically scrap to my ideas. If it was a P5-6 I think I would have paid the $3K

The frame had a few scrapes - not mint but in decent shape. Offered $2.5K & he declined, which is OK by me!
The guy had moved onto track running, gave up on tri’s. Did a few IM’s and the Dynamic race in Oliver several times.

The guy got back to me with a counter offer  Not sure about it even at my orig offer price, I need ideas - What would I do with this thing project wise?

Is it worth it?

I was about to put this one up for sale, P5-six, size 54
$4200, brand new SRAM Red mechanical group (10 spd), RTC shifters.
training wheels, and original rotor Crank that have been off the bike the entire time i owned it.
comes with high V installed, but also have Low V.
Zipp Vuka extensions. Great condition bike, originally purchased in the fall of 2013.
I own road bikes, MTBs & a gravel bike so this has not had huge mileage and has been shop maintained by a top LBS.
