x2 running warehouse. Get them mailed to where you are staying.
X3 on Running Warehouse. You can get an additional 15% off on closeout items by using FB15D as a code - I got several pairs of Hoka Tracers for around $50 each a few months ago.
I don’t think Pacific carries run shoes anymore, so your best bet is probably going to be The Athlete’s Source.
Stamford is just a train ride away from New York City. If you’re up for an adventure, you could head in to the city, and there a number of good shops to try.
I’ve been to Jack Rabbit Sports (Union Square), and it was pretty nice. You get one on one service with full gait analysis. They also carry swimming gear, so you can check that out too.
Paragon Sports (a little bit up from Union Square) also has a good shoe selection. This place can be pretty wild - multiple floors, and gobs of people shopping. They have plenty of bike porn in case you need to get a fix.
I assume both shops carry Hoka’s, but I have not confirmed that.
While buying on-line can be economically advantageous in some cases, I prefer to head to a shop.
Thanks for your suggestions. Ill check them all out once im in US
Local option in Stamford would be The Athlete’s Source. They do carry Hoka.
Whats a full gait analysis?
