Best lap-swimming mask with nose cover?

I am looking for a swim mask, like the aqua sphere, but which has a nose cover (like a dive mask–and no, a nose clip isn’t acceptable). Are there any decent ones? I can’t seem to find any reviews on google, as they all refer me to bulky dive masks…

I am curious about these as well. The last couple of years I seem to have developed some additional allergies that make my sinuses inflame horribly when I am swim in open water. Nose plugs help but are a PITA.

Nose plugs help but are a PITA.Part of my concern is especially going into the winter soon I don’t want to exacerbate drying of my nose by washing it for extended periods in pool chemicals!

In any case, what I’ve found so far are a couple of well-reviewed speedos on Amazon. They are not all that bulky http://www.amazon.com/Speedo-7530331-Adult-Recreation-Dive/dp/B002MBC008/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1317236686&sr=8-1 but if I could more or less get standard goggles that also had the nose piece that would work great.

Two words: Neti Pot. Flush your nose/sinuses out after you swim and you won’t have to worry about the dryness or the chemicals.

I use the pool to flush my sinus. Works great

using a single drop of “original” johnsons baby shampoo in the neti pot rather than the saline wash will usually get rid of any of the dryness/allergy reactions that pools cause. That was the advice i got from a doc at Mayo clinic, and has proved to work perfectly. i had sinus issues stemming from the pool until i started this.

I know this is an old question, but I had the exact same problem.

All the best breathing in the world won’t prevent the occasional drop of pesky chlorinated water coming into contact with the inside of your nose.

The best type of mask for swimming would probably be a free diving mask with a plastic lens. Free diving masks tend to be lightweight and smaller in size than other masks. I think!? I eventually found one called:

Aqualung Sport SPHERA Freediving / Snorkelling Mask - ARTIC WHITE LX

I’m not trying to push this particular product, you’re welcome to find other ones. Just saying this is the kind of mask that might suit your needs.
