Best jogger-stroller?

Any strong opinions on who makes the best running jogger and in town stroller? I want all in one if possible.

thx.

We have the BOB IM double stroller. I think it’s great but my wife won’t use it - too tall for her. I used it extensively last year and this year training for IM and various marys and it has held up well. if you don’t want the IM logo they make the same stroller with different wheels for less money. We looked at the Chariot system(s) - very expensive but maybe worth it if you do other stuff with your kids.

For running Baby Jogger hands down. BOB is a close second for all-around use. We own both and I will grab the baby jogger for runs.

I’ve owned three different ones, and while a Burley is great, the Baby Jogger is still in a class all by itself. kinda like Chris King is to headsets.

We had a Bob Ironman and sold it to get the Bob Revolution. It’s more versatile in that you can lock the front wheel for jogging or unlock it so it pivots for general day-to-day use. I actually prefer running with the front wheel unlocked. Much easier to steer and you don’t have to keep lifting the front wheel every time you change directions.

I’ll second the BOB Revolution. Its an awesome all-in-one stroller with a swivel front wheel that can be locked-in and then fine-tuned to ensure it tracks straight. It has everything you could want in a stroller IMO. Check out JoggingStroller.com for some good deals.

We have nothing bad to say about our Chariot - well worth the $$.

We bought ours at TinyRide.com. They had free shipping, no tax (even in state!), a free gift with the order, and doubled the manufacturer’s warranty.

I have a Baby Jogger Performance 20 and I love it. I did a lot of research before picking it because I was pretty sure I’d be using it for every run and for the last 2 months that’s been true. Others had decent reviews but nothing came close to the Performance 20.

Baby Jogger with 20 inch wheels. Hands down.

Can’t recommend a stroller but I bought one of these for my best friend as a Birthday gift. If anyone is interested…

Another vote for Chariot. Greatest product ever for a tri-family
Super versatile, changes to a bike Trailer, even has a x-country ski attachment (if you live where it snows)
Best baby gift we ever got!

I have the BOB Revolution double and the Ironman single. The Revolution is terrific for all-around. The Ironman is great for sidewalks and runs, but not as maneuverable. They both are so freaking solid comoared to anything else I have seen.

baby jogger with 20 inch wheels. Light weight, and just keeps on rolling, I do all my recovery and slow runs with my son and this.

I definitely don’t recommend leaving the front wheel unlocked when running. It’s okay up to a moderate pace, but once you start going too fast the wheel will violently oscillate side to side, sending the stroller every which direction. I forgot about that once when I tried to sprint across a double intersection (if you take too long you will have to wait through another long light cycle) and was quite lucky that I didn’t tip over the stroller and then topple on top of it.

Other than that, the Revolution is a very good stroller. I don’t find that it hinders my training at all.

You can’t go wrong with chariot. I use it for jogging, x-country skiing and the occasional bike ride to buy ice cream…
