Now that it’s summer, what are the best OUTDOOR lap swim pools for Denver? Many parks & rec pools seem to only have 1 hour a day for lap swim. Anyone found any great outdoor pools in Denver with longer lap swim than 1 hour? I’ve heard of the Lowry 50m pool, but called them and the lady I spoke to couldn’t really seem to tell me when lap swim hours were. Also tried out Congress Park…crowded w/ elderly women doing breaststroke kick in the 1 lap lane. Anyone tried Cook Park? May have to cough up the $ for an athletic club membership, their outdoor pools may be the best option. Or just race enough Lifetime Fitness races to collect a bunch more of the 7 day free passes to their clubs that they hand out. Thanks
I would love to hear the answer as well. Denver Park and rec has a great website. I’m planning on trying out Berkeley Park pool this week. I love swimming outside!
