Best Custom Kit Manufacturer

Hey Twitchers.

I am doing some stage racing in conjunction with the usual Ironman stuff next year and need to get some custom bike and tri kit made up.

Who are the best guys, in your opinion, with smallish orders (20 sets) of cycling gear?

Thanks. Raoul

My team has used Voler for a few years, and they seem to be good value for the money. We looked at Champ Systems this year but the chamois is just not as good (a crucial factor) and looked at Capo also, but their prices were a bit high.

Don’t know about minimums exactly, but you’re in the ballpark, something like 20-25

We do custom apparel, both cycling and tri stuff. Email me for details.

I really like the Hincapie gear. I think they have 2 lines. I’m referring to the better one, which was still reasonably priced.

Our team used Desoto, uniforms turned out great. Very easy to deal with from top to bottom. Prices were very reasonable as well.

We have use Voler in the past. Very good to work with. Decent prices and 25 piece minimum.

Hey Emilio,
A couple of questions - do you have a full zip cycling jersey? and do you do custom shorts and bibs as well?

Thanks,
Brent

I’ve used Pactimo, their high end cycling stuff is sweet (3 ridden double centuries, 3 200Ks, 2 12 hr mtn bike races, and a 2 man team at 24 hr mtn bike race in their stuff), minimum order is 5 pieces per style. Tri shorts are pretty good, nice leg pocket. Tri-top, hard to say as the only one I had was too small.

Any good places with no minimums and decent prices?

My relatively new cycling team just bought a set of Champion System kit - http://champ-sys.com/. Seems like really good gear. I own a couple of key pieces of Castelli, Campag and Exte Ondo kit that I LOVE but even after using them I’ll train and race in CS without regrets

Team One or Team Five are good options. Unlimited colours etc and good prices.

No on the full zip jersey, yes on the shorts and bibs. Email me for details.

We have used Sugoi. Pads in both shorts for bike and tri are the best around. Good fit for everything. Nice vests and jackets too. 25 minimum on the order though.

check out Chiron Sports.

they can help custom design just about anything you want. they do jerseys as race prems for many events.

The group i ride with has Louie Garneau which is nice but I have to say, my slowtwitch Desoto jersey is sweet and when paired up with my 400 mile shorts it is currently my favorite road kit…

Check out Epix Gear, they do cycling and triathlon (tri suits or tri tops, shorts). They can do personalized customization, so a custom design plus your name written on each piece, like ITU pro sets. MOQ is 10 pieces. Very reasonable prices and good quality, plus short lead times. They also do free design work, and can design from scratch at no extra cost. www.epixgear.com/custom

We used DeSoto this year. Have previously used Sugoi and Louis Garneau. The process was SO EASY with DeSoto. Options were a little more limited, but the ease of the process really made it a good trade off. Price was reasonable. Will probably stick with them again this year. I would consider Louis again IF I had a huge team and was ordering a bunch of different stuff.

Take a look at Verge, my team used them this spring. they are very flexible with their minimums are are very easy to work with.

Don’t know if you have your designs already done up and such, but if you’re looking for some cool graphics, check out Hell Yeah!! They are a new company that does custom kits and other tri wear, which was started by one of my training partners. Probably be willing to work with you since they’re new to the biz. I have no interest in the business other than wanting to see my friend succeed. See link below.

Our team has Hincapie. I think it was a 10 piece minimum. Everything was well priced, high quality and fits great. We got tri kits as well as cycling, in womens or mens. Highly recommended. Every race/ride we do we get lots of compliments. Womens bibs rock:) Sorry no pics yet.

I made one person uniforms (ie not team, just for me) this past winter.

foudn the best prices/no minimums was from “atac sportswear”- they did a great job- product came out looking AWESOME.
