Good question. I posed it to the one in Hillsboro on my last trip to Dallas, but they had no answer. 
I had heard about it, but hadn’t watched it until now…I actually know the camp director! lol I’ll have to find out the inside scoop…

Just heard back from my friend. He’s said that they were supposedly planning some 30 second version of the ad for the ESPN2 coverage of the Penn Relays and some other spring/summer track meets…
He also said he was originally just auditioning to be an extra, but they thought he was perfect for the role of “coach” and gave it to him David was an Olympic Trials marathoner back in the day, and still pretty damn fast…
