Best 3-D gait analysis software/hardware system?

What is the Best 3-D gait analysis software/hardware system? I am mainly interested in running.

It really depends on what you want to do with it. The best system is high speed camera + software reconstructing in 3D and allowing you to have access to variables + expertise to analyse, the latter point being the most important af the three. In addition if you want to be thorough you can use EMG, force plate, accelerometers, pressure pads. In our lab we use a Vicon system from Oxford Metrics. Probably the best one on the market to analyse in 3D any movement (including cycling / bike fitting), but not the easiest to use and definitely very expensive. Then we use various softwares, mainly bodybuilder and Matlab. All that is an overkill if you want to have a quick and simple look at your gait.

Thanks for the help. I run a small upscale sports medicine facility and need something to analysis the gait of my runner, cyclist and triathlete patients. It needs to be upscale, and relatively affordable and easy to use. Any additional help would be great…

No software but how about 2 or 3 Casio EX-FH100 cameras at different angles? They shoot from 30 to 1000 fps and only run about $350.

30 to 240 fps sample

Seems pretty cool.
