was torn watching Argentina v Scotland at rugby world cup so didn’t see what happened at end of marathon

He ran 14:20 for kilometers 25-30. I don’t think very many people on this board can run that for 5k. Man I don’t even know if I could run that pace for more than 1k.

Actually, the average pace is just under 4.43 per mile…
I’ve done a 2:39 marathon and I doubt I could keep up for much more than 800m.

Pfffft…is that all?
I’m not sure about your definition of normal age-grouper but I’d guess most would pop before they hit 200 meters…running a 1:10 1/4 mile is not easy.
