The end of an era at 8yrs it’s sure to be one of the longest coaching relationships out there. I think it’s a good move for Ben as his performances have not coincided with his ability

Agree that it is probably a good move for Ben.
I was very glad to see his wife chime in to say bye to Coach Jim and hi to Uncle Jim. Glad they are going their own ways on good terms.

Yeah definitely seems Ben wasn’t reaching his potential. Interested to see who he hires next.

Is this the same coach that flew out to Hawaii with him and wondered if he should drink sea water on his training day?
Can’t be sure if that particular person was trolling for the camera or perhaps a little too inventive and open minded in his methods.
Ben has to be disappointed, as it looks like he was taking a very Kona focused approach to his training the last couple years.
He biked better than it seemed like he would have given his somewhat inconsistent history. His run he completely faded, like so many in that bike group.
