Battery operated Digital bike pump?

Anyone have a favorite they use and recommend?

Battery operated Digital bike pump ?

Need to be able to use on disc wheel as well

Here’s mine. It works well and is a great value because of its price: https://www.amazon.com/CYCPLUS-Electric-Compressor-Rechargeable-Motorbikes/dp/B0825RKV67

It’s digital gauge automatically stops stopped pumping when it hits the set pressure. That feature is outstanding, because it matched my analog Accu-Gage gauge perfectly.

My quick recommendations from my lessons… get one with a native presta inflator that will work in a disc wheel. Mine has a proprietary hose with a Schrader chuck, so I have to use a crack pipe. Also, I highly recommend one that has an (accurate) internal automated shut-off pressure gauge.

I use the Topeak pressure gauge to check the manual pump it’s correct. https://www.amazon.com/Topeak-60100005-D2-SmartGauge/dp/B0051LQ0X4

With regards to disc wheels, I guess it depends more on the adapter than the pump itself. Anyway, since my pump is from Topeak as well as the adapter and gauge, everything connects just fine

How do you know which is correct? The pump or the gage?

I use a Fumpa. Great when traveling and can put in morning clothes bag.

Fits disc also.

My pump is spot on with the gauge, so both are correct. I used the gauge to find out that my sister’s cheaper pump is 0.5 bar off

This is the only pump you need. https://silca.cc/collections/inflation/products/superpista-digital

I second this: https://silca.cc/...s/superpista-digital
.

I use Fumpa as well. Compact which makes it great for traveling. Works on a disc which is main reason I got it. I don’t fully trust the digital pressure display so I check it with this pressure gauge https://www.planetbike.com/dial-bike-tire-gauge/

It is super interesting the different ways people interpreted “Battery operated Digital bike pump” to answer the OP. Just goes to show that what you think you wrote is not necessarily what someone else will read.

I guess battery operated could’ve meant that the digital gauge doesn’t plug into a socket. Lol.

Reminds me of all the threads where people are deciding between bikes A or B (or wheels A or B) and half the responses are for C, D, E…

x3 on fumpa. Expensive and loud, but it works.

We use this Dewalt one for all 6 bikes, our Jeep, and our 42-foot motorhome tires. Same batteries power our impact driver, drill, vacuum, and blower. We bought non-dewalt batteries on amazon and have loved them.

I just use a Silca Hiro pump head. A quick release air chuck stays permanently affixed to the Dewalt pump and allows easy in and out of the Silca head or locking onto car tires.

Hey Brian, agree.

I have the digital silca posted also. Great pump. But for traveling to races the Fumpa is nice.

I’m not even sure now what the OP is wanting. Haha

Ditto. And now I want that digital Silca pump.

Soooooo nice. Comes with Hiro also!

Anyone else using the Ryobi dual function pump? https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/Products/Power-Tools/RYOBI-ONE%2B-18-Volt-Dual-Function-Inflator-Deflator/p/P747

I’d say it’s one of the best $40 bike purchases I’ve ever made. Turn it on and set your psi, and start the compressor. It will pump up to the pressure you set and turns off. The hose is flexible enough to fit in my Flo disc wheel opening. (Don’t use it on a carbon tubeless though because of the risk of air leakage into the rim and carbon explosion, I have read.). But it works great for my latex tubes.

I pump wheels weekly before outdoor rides and a 2ah battery (sold separately) lasts months. It also easily fits in my transition bag to pump wheels the morning of the race.

The gauge on mine seems to be accurate checking against a few other gauges and pumps, though if you have a gauge you like, you could pump to the offset of the pump’s gauge was off.

I have had this pump for about a year now, and traveled a few times with it. Just put the battery in your carry on, and air compressor in your checked bag/bike bag and you are good to go.

The biggest trick I found is using a crack pipe/disc wheel adaptor with a screw on, versus clamp on. (Like this)

Edited to include air-chuck adapter.

Which Fumpa do you use? The mini-model or the full one?

I use the full 200 model.
