I’ve read the forum article but i’m curious to find out how people select there bar set up…looks/cost??? or is it just trial and error till something fits/feels good…
That depends, what kind of bike do you have?
I go by looks and cost. I usually go by happy hour specials and how many hot chicks hang out there.
Value for the buck with aero performance - the Vision Tech base bar wins hands down.
If I was going to purchase a one piece bar I’d make my initial decision based upon the wind tunnel test that Kraig Willet did on several of them. It can be found on his web site. Of course comfort is also very important.
Jukebox is an important consideration as well.
Live music is even better.
I prefer
-
Any bar that has Guinness on a 70/30 CO2/Nitrogen tap and is served at the proper temperature and poured correctly.
-
Tall bar stools are nice with good padding as well. Your chest is above the bar and you can get a foot on the rail without knocking your knee.
-
Music, not too loud and typically R&B or Blues.
-
Will allow you to smoke a good cigar and has a good scotch selection.
-
Has plenty of Eye Candy.
Since you can’t smoke in public buildings anywhere in CA, there are no good bars here!
