I saw a picture of her at IMH and she had a funny looking bike… I know that someone mentioned it before, but does anyone remember what brand it is and why it is shaped that way?

Its a cat cheetah. Very rare and if you believe in race n sunday buy on monday it should be a best seller. In addition to NB wins Lori Bowden won once or twice on a cheetah. Considering how many wins that adds up to and how many cheetahs are out their thats very impressive.

What I want to know is did it survice the crash? I know she got on a cervelo or something afterwards but that could just be a bent hanger or something.
If reports are correct, it WAS a Cat Cheetah…
Maybe Craig Calfee can rescue it from the crash?

they still make them so I doubt it’ll be a problem for her if it is totalled. I actually email them last week to see if they have plans to make a 700c version and got a prompt reply saying sadly no…
apparently it is against the aerodynamic p.rinciples of the designer to make a 700c version!
That Cheetah’s the same one she’s been riding on since '96. She’s obsessed with that bike, and for good reason, I’d say.

We saw the bike on sunday in the race office (no idea why it was left there). It didnt have any obvious damage (cant speak to broken spokes, etc- but it wasnt obviously wrecked)
Apparently (from the video at the awards ceremony) it was a pretty bad crash- they didnt have footage of the crash, but the footage of the post crash showed her to be in a ton of pain. I dont think there are any non-bad crashes at full race speed.

At Wildflower 2004 she used a Griffen for the race because her Cheetah had been damaged on the flight or something like that. She still managed to win Wildflower on the borrowed bike though.
That’s the bike with the built in hydration bladder in that pseudo top tube right? Note to all she has no base bar if you look at the picture, and that’s how she does it. How hard core is that? No standing, no sitting up, no nothing. She’s aero all day. I have no clue where her brakes are even. She’s Natasha though, maybe she never uses brakes. She needs a wallet like Samuel L. Jacksons in “Pulp Fiction.” “It’s the one that says bad mutha fucka on it”
