Agreed. I stayed at that Hilton and wasn’t impressed.
I’m a Hilton Honors whore. I booked the Hampton Inn down the road in case I’m out of luck with the Hilton. I don’t mind a quick drive in the AM to grab the shuttle from Hilton although It would be nice to roll out of bed and stumble out the door to the bus.
The Hampton Inn was a good choice for my wife and I a couple of years ago. We parked a car downtown the night before and took a taxi back to the hotel and to the race start the next morning. Really lowered the stress levels for sure.
