Alani is a** five (5) Year Old, Port Macquarie Girl,** who has been fighting leukaemia now for over 4 months. Her mum and dad, Mel & Todd, have been by her side the whole time, (living 400km away from their home here in Port Macquarie), as Alani has received to date - 5 rounds of chemotherapy at Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney. The draw for this special raffle will take place on Saturday 4th April 2009, immediately following the I.M. Age Group Race Briefing, in the main tent of the Ironman Village. Some very special helpers will be assisting me in drawing the winning names… All winning names will be draw at this time and the winning position will be recorded next to each name as they are drawn out. This process should only take approx 10 minutes. Each winning name will then be contacted, in order of first through to last drawn. At this point the first winner will select their prize from the total prize list before the second winner is contacted to select their prize from the remaining prizes. This process will continue until all prizes have been allocated and may take considerably longer than the draw itself. Once ALL prizes have been allocated I will then publish a comprehensive list of who won what etc and place it on Alani’s Leukaemia Raffle Site.
