A group of four of us will be flying into Sydney with 4 bike cases. What’s the best way to get up to Forster? Anybody have any experience with Tri-travel or the bus service?
I’ve used Deepak Patel at Premium Plus Sports for my travel arrangements to Thailand and to Ironman New Zealand. I would recommend him based on my experiences. He handled all the logistics and gave me a price below what I could get on my own from Expedia.com, etc.

I hear that Macca is opening his own bike shop down under. I say give the shop a call, demand to speak with the owner, tell him since he is going up there anyway…, he should help you out. Tell him you could bring “heaps” of business his way if you have a good experience. I am sure Tom would agree that as a shop owner trying to grow his business it would be the right thing for him to do. He cant possibly be worried about racing? 
I was in Australia for the 2002 Ironman (not racing just traveling the world for a couple months, but couldn’t resist going and watching Macca’s first Ironman). But I rode a bus from the center of Syndey to Foster-Tuncurry and it was very easy. There was actually 3 people from the Philippines on the bus with me and they each had bike boxes. I will look through my stuff tonight and post the name of the company I used, but I found that as I traveled through Australia that everyone was extremely helpful with any arrangements I needed.
