Austin People?

Starting at the Four Seasons, where should I run? Ran on the path to the right last night. Is the other way better? Is there somewhere else I should go? Looking for 6-8 miles. Thanks.

Are you racing the 70.3 this weekend???

The I35 to Mopac loop is about 7 miles on the trail. If you go east of I35 it gets a little sketchy but there’s also less people that will bother you…

you can loop around the whole lake for 7.5 miles
tonight a group will be leaving from austin tri-cyclist around 6. most of us doing 4.5 miles but we can point you the way to rest of the loop

thanks for the offer but I am flying out this morning. Ran to the left til it seemed to dead end by a power plant past some baseball fields after a stone arch thing. Turned around and then did a loop around the capiotol complex to get to 7. Nice run, almost chilly. Thought it was hot here?

cold front blew in yesterday.

if you had crossed the road you woulda been on a trail that kept going.

next time!

Agreed. Better last night around 6. Oh and I guess that is a lake rather than a river huh ?

No. It’s a river. Folks 'round here are a bit confused.

it is a river
it makes me twitch that we call it a lake
.

me too! So many things in ATX that I just don’t get. I do prefer the name Town Lake to it’s new designation…
