By the time this mornings ride hit 620, I was dropped like a bad habit. I came across 5-6 riders right before the Dam. Looks like an SVU hit some / all of them and police / fire /emts were on the scene.
Looked like one had a neck brace on and firefighters were treating - the rest looked banged up, but hopefully not broken.
Anyone have info?
For those of you not in Austin / familiar with this route - it’s on a 4 lane road with a shoulder that’s almost as wide as a car lane. Should be a safer spot to ride - but on a bicycle it seems danger is everywhere.
Wear your helmets, ride with others, carry a cel phone and be safe!
