I’m flying to Austin tomorrow for a bachelor party on Saturday. I want to get a run in sometime while I’m there. Can any locals give me some good places to go? I don’t know where I’m staying yet, Embassy Suites, maybe.

The green belt if you are looking for more of a trail run (rocks, streams, etc).
The path around town lake for a more standard route, you can park under the bridge in zilker park.
Depending how long and rough a night you have Saturday, one of the best runs of the year is Sunday Morning at RunTex. Gilberts Run for the Water 10 miler gos on some of the more scenic ( albeit a bit hilly) roads, with a start/finish on 1st St bridge. Best of all- its for a great cause.

If you’re staying at the embassy suites, then you definitely want to just hop on the townlake trail. You will less than a block away from the trail. Run 4 the Water 10 miler on Sunday morning is also a great idea!
I may not make the Sunday run, but it sounds great. It depends on my flight out.
I’ll post up here when I’m going running to see if anyone wants to join me. Would love to talk to a local as my wife has mentioned possibly moving to Austin.

Thanks guys! I did about 4 miles on the townlake trail this evening. It is very convenient being right across the street from my hotel.
