Augusta 70.3 Question

I’m doing Augusta 70.3 this year and I was wondering if any of the locals knew if the swim would likely be wetsuit legal or not. I’m considering buying a wetsuit, but wasn’t sure if I would even need one for this race. Thanks!

  1. Good chance it would be wetsuit legal in October, since it is end of September it is a toss up.
  2. Drop your reg in Augusta and enter the SC Half a few miles up the road but a week later. Better course and longer race history. Great race.

And I believe it’s been wetsuit legal just about every year. I’m not 100% sure … but I know it was the last two.
