I’m going to be in AC this week for a few days for work. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any pools that I can swim in (a YMCA or something?) or if the beach is guarded yet. Unfortunately my cheep ass company won’t put me in a nice hotel with a pool in it!

If the beach isn’t guarded, then you certainly shouldn’t have any problem swimming in the ocean… Pack your WS…

Personally I wouldn’t want to swim the AC beach … go over the bridge to Brigantine or down the Expressway>Parkway to OC / Margate / Ventnor.
I believe they have a nice facility these days, you can call city hall to find out about it. Brigantine Aquatic center is up the road. Main beaches should be open, might be cold. some more info here: http://www.acacswim.org/masters/mainpage.htm

Ummm, nothing in AC is a “nice facility” if you’re not in a casino. Trust me, I surf in Brigantine. Unless you go to Wildwood, you’re going to have to buy a beach tag.
