Can anyone recommend a bike shop near downtown Atlanta where I can rent a road bike for a few days while in town for a business trip?

Not sure about in the city,but if you come out to Roswell we have the Trek 2.1 for rent.
Try Atlanta cycling…I’m not sure if they rent bikes but they have a shop in-town off of Piedmont road. There are a couple of other in-town bike shops but I’m not familiar with them.
Also, if you are looking for group workouts, check out the Atlanta Tri Club…they have group runs on Tuesdays and group rides on Thursdays.

You might try “skate escape” right across the street from piedmont park. Won’t be a high end racing machine, but they definitely rent all sorts of bikes and it will be close to downtown. The address is like Piedmont and 13th.
