Very proud of my son today because he not only won but saw a fellow competitor collapse shortly after finishing. My son who just started nursing school checked his pulse, which he had none, and alerted EMS.
Luckily (being a triathlon in Dallas) there were plenty of doctors racing so seemed to get him going again before EMS took him to the hospital.
