Soon to be official, Trek is going to be under the Astana team for 2008. Word on the street is that the jersey will continue to be baby blue with a slash of yellow coming down from the shoulder vertically. The Kazakhstan crest will still be the focal point of the jersey.

Glad I didn’t post the month old news. My insider states that there will be NO “Astana blue” on the new kit. Recognition studies indicate that people associate Vino and cheating with the old colours more than the name, so they wish to remove that colour completely. NOW, is the Kazak government (the money) will allow that is a different situation!
