ASICS Metaspeed Sky v.s. Edge

I ordered a pair of Metaspeed Sky’s and the shoes that came are in a Metaspeed Sky BOX but I think they are the Metaspeed Edge (not what I wanted). Is there an “easy” way to tell?

The Sky has a much more abrupt midsole curve in the nose.

That looks like the Sky. Why would you think otherwise?

So I’ve not worn anything to compare and I’ve now had two different people say to me “how do you like the Edge”. When I’ve said these are the Sky they just simply said the looked more like the Edge which got me thinking about it. With my colorway it a bit more difficult to tell (I think). I’m guessing the ride would be a lot different in the Edge though …………
