Anyone used or have knowledge of the Edge+ and have thoughts on it? There doesnt seem to be a ton of chatter on this shoe.
The info/marketing says shorter stride and maybe better for older runners, but just wondering how true that is.
My first super shoe was the endorphin pro a few years ago and while I was faster in it, I can be pretty sore after using them.
Looking for a shoe for a marathon later this year (flat and fast course).

I’ve got close to 200 miles on a pair. I had a pair of the original Metaspeed Sky and since I am more of a high cadence runner I thought I’d give them a try. First they run a tad smaller than my Sky’s. I use them for my long training runs at race pace, so up to 20 miles. I think they are firmer than my Sky’s. They are a fast shoe but not as fast as my Vaporfly Next % that I race in and do my fast interval workouts in. The only reason I would get another pair over the Vaporfly is because ASICS has a great 40% medical discount that doesn’t exclude they premium shoes like Nike does.
I’ve run multiple marathons and full ironman runs in my edge/edge+. So far so good and no complaints. They are fast.

I like my Edge, but they don’t feel like a super shoe. In fact it feels very similar to my old Asics Hyperspeeds, like a stiff racing flat. You don’t get the bounce or springiness you do with something like the Vaporfly.
