Asheville TT series promotion

Hey all, Im directing the Asheville TT series this year, if you happen to be in the area, come on out and give the 20k a go!

All entrants are required to sign a USCA “Standard Athlete Release Form”. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian with them when registering to sign the release form. Sorry, NO REFUNDS. **JUNIORS AND VOLUNTEERS RACE FOR FREE! COURSE DESCRIPTION: **A flat, scenic 20K out and back along the French Broad River on HWY 251 (River Rd), between Marshall and Asheville, NC **DIRECTIONS: **From Asheville, on I-240, take exit #4A to US 19/23 North. Take the Marshall exit onto US 25/70. Go 6.5 miles and turn left on business 25/70 (signs to Marshall). PARKING: Parking is available on the riverside of the road ONLY. No parking at the Church or Business Office. Categories: Men’s A, Men’s B, Masters 40+, Women, Juniors, Team (2 or more). Merchandise prizes for first place in each race category.

I’ll bet that the course is absolutly amazing. Going right next to the river the whole time? Sounds unbelieveable. I might have to make the drive from Raleigh for one of these. Thanks for the post.

I’m glad to see this going on… I remember starting this series back in 1995. It has been taken up by many people since but it is great to see it continue.

Are you starting in Marshall where the French Broad Race started? It originally went out the other directions just past the Alexander Post office… The course is deceptive but still very fast. Good Luck!!!

Not only Andy, but world champ David Grice is not too shabby either…yes, still starting in Marshall, same course as the FB race…the race has changed hands many times over the past few years. On the verge of extinction this year, the ABRC prez and I decided to not let it die. Hopefully it will be supported!
