OMG, they have the stream on a timer. Since the stage arrived late, the coverage cutoff before the ending. The entire last lap and sprint were missed.
And RAI wont feed either.
I thought it was a problem with my network firewall. That sucks. Had to get the info from VeloNews. Can’t believe we missed the sprint.
Yeah, same thing happened to me. I did have the Eurosport audio feed synched up w/ the video, so at least I heard the commentary of the sprint.
I already e-mailed their support with an angry message, and they replied that an unknown technical error cut off the live feed. What a bunch on toss, they know damn well it was cut off cause it was 11:30 eastern, and they won’t admit their stupid mistake. Whatever!
I lost the feed as well. I used the support window as well. I am now deep in an email match with them requesting a .40 refund because they didnt provide the live race coverage that they promised.
As you can tell, I have absolutely nothing to do.
Dave
You can watch a little of the sprint at eurosport.com. Looks like dude won by a hair’s breadth. Two studly sprinters, them.
Happened to me also, but I quickly switched over to RAI and, after a couple of tries, got on to see the sprint - horrible picture, though.
where did you find the eurosport audio feed?
Go to www.eurosport.com and during the stage there will be a live audio tab on the left.
I lost the stream as well, but had the eurosport audio going. Anyone else notice how the audio is about 5-10 seconds ahead of the streaming broadcast.
I was pretty annoyed too, but I don’t think too much of a fuss should be made to oln…they providing something pretty cool for pretty cheap…if it’s too big of a pain ie people demanding $.40 refunds, they won’t do it in the future…
