Federer had him, 3 match points but couldn’t close it out, epic match!
Notwithstanding the fact he’s my favourite of the three, had he won that would have been the sweetest victory; having overcome the two nearest rivals to his GOAT status (though I don’t rate Nadal as much as Novac) who have both had the wood over him for the most part.
Putting another major between him and the chasers would also have been good.
All the stats suggested he should have won. Funny game that tennis.
