I’m looking for a review of the Aquaman Tri-Process. I know Rappstar had some good things to say about it in a thread a while back, but I can’t seem to find it…
Basically, I am looking for a decent wetsuit for my first 1/2 IM this fall. I’ve done lot of reading, and I certainly understand that you get what you pay for w/ wetsuits, but at $189, the tri-process seems like a steal. I’m looking for something reasonably priced just to get me through the next few years (I’m a poor med student…).
Anybody have thoughts about the tri process? Or other suggestions in that range?
Also, if you’ve ever tried the tri-process, how does it fit? I’m 6’5" 175 lbs. so I’m thinking XL, but afraid it might be too short??

It’s a great suit FOR THE MONEY. It’s not as good as a $600 wetsuit, but it’s definitely more than 1/3 as good. I was very pleasantly surprised. The biggest issue is that the legs are not as flexible so it took a bit more work to get out of the suit. But I was very pleased with how I felt swimming in it. It swam a lot better than it cost. It’s not as flexible or as buoyant, but it will keep you warm, is durable, and is well made. For the price, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
