3M makes an insert for the Kaiman lens.
Aquasphere makes a goggle that will accept Rx lenses. I had one that I lost in the surf at Santa Barbara. ;-(
I currently use the swimoutlet house ones and they work fine, but not as comfy as the Aquasphere.
Thanks Doc, where can I find the 3m insert at?
I think you will be quite impressed with them. I bought mine from SwimOutlet and my Rx is -5.5! It was such an odd thing to swim laps and be able to see the bottom and the wall…just a joy. I think they were like $12 shipped or something crazy like that.

A few years ago I got the info from Aquasphere. I would try emailing them. They aren’t cheap, which is why I went with the other model, but I love the Kaiman, but I’ve got to swim blind.
I keep considering Lasik, but I’m nervous about my peepers.
I find this is a good site:
http://www.prescription-swimming-goggles.co.uk/
It has a wide range of goggles and good service.
However, does anyone know where I can find goggles in .25 increments?
I’m using the speed vanquisher opticals, they work pretty decent but only available in full diopters. Also, I have some trouble seeing the pace clock if it’s not too close. So I’ve taken to using a Garmin Swim for pacing.
Used to wear contacts with Swedes then I had PRK.
I use the optic goggles from Kiefer (mail order).
You might want to try these.
I don’t wear the goggles but I know someone who uses goggles and contacts together. She uses dailys.
My girlfriend has -5.5 view, she really needs her glasses to see in her everyday life and when she wanted to try swimming again last year we looked around online for pool stuff and found out about prescription goggles.
We did the little maths with the numbers her optometrist gave us and when she tried it for the first time she couldn’t believe it how great it was. She feels much more confident in a pool now. Totally a game changer.
I think this has been answered by more than a few people, but here are a few more options of goggles. I personally use the Vanquishers and haven’t had a problem.
I have a 5.50 and a 5.00 variance between eyes. I bought one pair of each and swapped lt .for rt. eye on both pairs and have two very accurate pairs. Even if your numbers aren’t perfect it is so much better than no rx ,no contest.
