I am not getting along with my Wove V8 and thinking a 3D printed saddle could go along way to solving comfort but also hold in position issues. Curious as to what folks are using if they have done the 3D printed route for their tri or TT bikes?
I just got a 3d printed Fizik TT saddle. When I first sat on it, I wasn’t sure it was going to work, but after a couple minutes it felt very comfortable. i also noticed my left-right power balance improved and I now get a 50-50 average almost every ride.
The biggest problem is that I rode one of my other bikes with a conventional saddle and now it feel uncomfortable. Upgrading the fleet is going to be expensive
I’m guessing you got the Transiro Aeris Adaptive? Been looking to switch to that saddle from an ISM myself. What did you find that was different from a conventional saddle?
I bit the bullet and am putting a 3D saddle on my road bike. I will report back after a month or so.
After years of being uncomfortable and spending a fortune on every saddle under the sun I got a Bisaddle Hurricane Pro 3D and can finally ride fall day in comfort!! Life changer
I have the Fizik LD Aeris saddle on my indoor smart bike and also my race bike. I’ve just got the Adaptive 3D printed one too and my god is it better, so clever they can soften some areas and not others.
Try it. I like it!
The saddle on my other bike is a Hilo. Now when I ride that bike it feels harsher and there are some noticeable pressure points. What I have noticed about 3d saddles is that they tend to be more supportive without being squishy.
Any update since the purchase? Thinking about pulling the trigger on getting one of these. Is there a return policy?
I just ordered the bisaddle too. I have a Selle Watt 3d and while I find it mostly great, the padding in the inside edge of the channel is a bit too hard. Really hoping the hurricane is the ticket. It’s been a struggle to find a saddle on my Tri bike.
Hope it works for you
I have 8 saddles I have tried and will be selling
Game changer was the position one saddle with their tri shorts
No matter which saddle I tried I was only able to do a couple hours on inside trainer and in pain!
As well as saddle sores off and on
Switching to the position one saddle can now do 4 hour indoor trainer sessions no problem and never a sore on the undercarriage
I think I’ve tried the same. SQ lab, Bontrager, Syncros, Mystical, Dash …you name it.
2 hrs indoors is tough.
The Selle 3d has been the best, but still not loving it after 1.5 hrs.
Haven’t seen that position one saddle. Looks like a dash and mystica had a baby. Where do you get them? Site looks broken…
How soft is the padding?
Yesterday I did 3hrs / 100km on the indoor bike - saddle didn’t even cross my mind, nor any thoughts of things going numb. Thumbs up from me for the Fizik Aeris LD
