I was just wondering if anybody out there has used the SRAM 11-16 or 12-26 cassette with a DA setup. As I am considering trying that out.
Im running a SRAM 11-23 with DA cranks. Ive had the combo for roughly 600-700 miles without any issues.

thanks, that is what I wanted to know if there was any shifting issues, or the chain skipping.
I used to run both of these with both a 50-34 and 50-39 up front. Never noticed any issues.
Sure it will work fine, but why would you?
What is the benefit?
Sorry…50-39 was supposed to be 53-39. I run the the 50-34 on huge climbing days. The 53-39 is on my other bike and I take the rear wheel on my 50-34 bike and switch to it because it has a wireless powertap hub.
Not really sure if your comments were addressed to me…?
well I put a SRAM cassette on we will see how it goes on my next ride. the bike shop said it shifts better than the DA.
A dura ace 10 speed chain will work like poo with a SRAM cassette,
Personally I have not been pleased with the performance of any SRAM road/triathlon product.
Maybe in a few years it will get better, as much as I hate to say this Shimano is the way to go.
Better performance, More reliable, Greater availability.
well i hope not, i have a long ride tomorrow!
I used a SRAM 12-26 with DA7800 54/39 and barend shifters for Oz IM… no probs.
Shifting was smooth-as…
