I noticed Garmin has posted a firmware update. I’m usually the one who charges in there and updates my software only to find out that the new features don’t apply to me and that the new version has bugs that prevent me from using my watch the way I used too.
Anyone got an experience, positive or negative?

I’ve been using it for a week and very happy, seems to be working well for me. Haven’t worn it in the water yet to take advantage of that feature they added some time ago but I will check it out soon.

Upgraded and all workin great delighted with average power reading now all I need is to buy that power meter:-)

I haven’t noticed any problems, and haven’t heard of any. Not to say there aren’t, but so far so good.
I’ve updated mine and it is working just fine as it was before.
Same experience here… updated mine last week and had no troubles since…
No problems, unlike some of the previous updates. I make it a point to not touch the computer or watch during the update just in case. Waiting on my power meter so I haven’t tried the new features yet.
I’m so happy that Garmin added the averaging features.
