Anyone tried using baby shampoo on a helmet visor?

My Selector tends to fog up in tri’s. Just used the TYR anti-fog stuff and it worked OK, but not great.

I use J&J Baby Shampoo in my goggles and was wondering if anyone had tried it for a helmet visor…

my hockey team in college used to put shampoo on our face shields to keep them clear. It worked well, just like in my goggles. Full face hockey masks have even less ventilation than a half shield on a aero helmet, so you should be fine with it.

good luck

Most plasctic visor are polycarbonate, they are light & strong but scratch easily.
Baby shampoo is fine clean the visor with fresh soap & water to keep the scratches away

I have experienced major issues with my selector fogging, tried ‘cat crap’ (note: do not use ACTUAL cat crap) and just got some of the Jaws Quick-spit anti fog and that seems to work like a charm
