but who swim 1:05 at best? I’m looking for pacing company on the bike (5:30) and run (3:30).
Finding someone to legally pace you in Lake Placid would involve more than just having similar expected splits. With the climbing and descending you would probably get separated. it would be like finding a needle in a hay stack.
Anyway I thought triathlon was an individual sport.
Obviously there’s separation on the course. That’s why I put specific splits. I may climb faster, but they probably descend faster. The point is to help each other stay focused on the goal pace, not to gain some form of illegal advantage.
Sign me up. I am very confident of my ability to finish the first lap of the marathon under 10:15.
