Anyone recommend a swim coach in East Bay area?

I’m looking for a swim coach in the East Bay area who would like to work with individuals and/or a small group - and, also possibly the random session with younger swimmers (2 kids, 5-7 years old).

Because of that last requirement, I don’t think Total Immersion clinics are an option. So, can anyone steer me towards a good, independent swim coach? Or, an online resource where coaches can be found?

Thanks!

yes, I can absolutely recommend Cousin Elwood from this board.

Have you tried the coaches on the local swim teams (notably SRVLA or the local rec teams)? They’re qualified coaches, and I know that at least a few of them supplement their income from the team with individual lessons, etc.

Also, I swim with the Tri-Valley Masters down in Pleasanton. The head coaches there are also top-notch (they coach for SRVLA as well), and they might also be able to help. Check out www.trivalleymasters.com or PM me for contact info.

i know 20 miles away from san fransisco is Walnut Creek Masters swim team. My friend used to swim for them, and Chris Lieto used to train with them. They are a good team from what I hear.
