My neighbor and I have a condo in town rented from July 22nd (thurs) thru July 27th (tues). He had to bail out of the race due to a health problem his wife is facing. The condo is part of Lake Placid Club Resort. It is within walking distance to the Olympic Village. It’s a townhouse design. Upper level has full bath, 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft (sofa pullout). The room available upstairs has 2 twin beds.
The main level features master bath w/ sauna and whirlpool, cable tv and dining room. Kitchen is fully equipped w/ dishwasher and microwave. All linens included.
Since it is just my wife and I for now, we would prefer no more than 3 people and no real small children (sorry…we’re leaving ours at home for a reason).
Price - $500 cash

If anybody else is interested in splitting the cost I may be interested. I’m assuming that it’s $500 total and not per person? I’m otherwise staying at a place for free but it’s about 35 minutes away so being in town would be preferable.

Oh no…it’s $500 total. Split it up how you want. I’m just trying to alleviate some financial burden from my neighbor who feels obligated to pay. Let me know…
for the record…this condo costs $1800 for the days mentioned. My neighbor has already put down $400 deposit. The remaining $500 is what we’d like to recover. So this is a very good deal! Unless you are faster than me then I will be very bummed!
