… and why?
also, what kind of head unit have you found interfaces best with them? thanks.

I used to work for Watteam.
While I don’t have any experience with the final product (“Gen2”), in my experience ANT+ head units were easier to set up and interface with than Bluetooth - but that’s more down to the head unit and protocol, a function of Bluetooth’s “monogamous” pairing method. I used prototypes extensively with the Garmin 520 and 920XT without any issues.
I just installed one (glued it yesterday, finished it today.)
Installation is a little bit involved. If you are mechanically adept, you can handle it, but if you are the type that takes a flat tire to the bike shop, you may want to have Watteam install it on your crank for $99. It truly only works on approved cranks.
This is my first power meter, but so far the left side only version seems to work well. I am using it with a Wahoo Element Bolt on my trainer. I will try it with Zwift (iPad) and my Garmin 920XT tomorrow. This product is dual ANT+/Bluetooth so it should work with literally any headunit out there.
You can’t beat the price.

This is my first experience with power meters. The install and set up was easy. I had a couple of drop outs in my first couple of rides, but haven’t had any other issues in months. I love them, but I don’t have anything else to compare them to. I use a Garmin 520 as my head unit, works fine but I don’t get any of the fancy Garmin cycling dynamics.
