I put mine on the left side of my stem and it is VERY clean. Looks great.
Interesting idea.
Because there is no way to fit the battery internally, I was thinking of getting a wedgie and putting the battery in there. With both of those working together, there wouldn’t be anything visible except for a few wires…

Got a pic?
The downside i see is that you’d have to have a bag behind the stem

This angle makes it look a lot bigger and more visible than it really is.

Seems to be faster than without… Like the Torhans Aero Bento or the new Plasma 5.
I have mine in an XLAB rocket pocket mounted behind the stem. Totally invisible. Because it’s in a bag. Works great.

Looks like we have the same bike and aerobar? P3 and Profile Aeria?
I put the box underneath the stem and routed the wires for the shifters on the extensions taped underneath the extensions. So from the back you see one single wire running from underneath the stem into the frame. You do not see any wires coming out at the back of the extensions.

Are you going to test it in the wind tunnel? What if it’s actually more aero where it is now? Have you done any CFD modeling?
Mine is a as Plasma 20 with a Profile Designs OzeroTT base bar and T3+ extensions.
I had the junction on the top of the stem and hidden under the torpedo mount.
Going to see if I can get it a little cleaner.
Behind computer mount on the extension. Single wire running to it.
Single wire, ok, so you used 2 of the 4 port internal boxes and then 1 wire to the junction?

It’s pretty close. I’m running the Profile Design Prosvet. It looks just like yours but angled down a bit. I think I would rather have a flat one like yours now that I’ve ridden it for a while. My extensions are Zipp Alumina Race with the Zipp clip-ons.
Got ya. Yeah, I haven’t ridden a bike with the drop angle base bar… Would you mind talking about the wiring?
If you only have 1 wire coming into your junction, I’m assuming you have 2x of the 4 port junction up front? So…
Left bar end shifter / brake lever shifter into 1 4port box.
Etube from that box to right box.
Etube wire down to rear 4 port junction for FD/RD/Battery
Right bar end shifter / brake shifter into right 4 port box.
Etube from left 4 port box.
Etube out to front Junction box
Is that about right?
I have the 5 port junction up front on the left side of my stem. All 4 shifters plug into it. The 5th port is the wire that runs through the down tube to the bottom bracket area. It plugs into the 4-port junction along with the two derailleurs and the battery (in my seat post). I easily put the 4-port junction into the drive-side chain stay. Very simple installation. The cabling on this frame is a dream. Very simple.
I’m doing exactly this on my speed concept. Junction sits just behind the stem and tucks into the bento.
The tech at the Trek store just complimented me on the setup last night

That’s also my solution. All the wiring is internal (except single wire from cockput to frame) from the pic I posted. I have Junction A behind the computer because I can see the battery level in the bars, tune it while riding etc, and easy charger access.
