Just as the title says. I’m thinking about adding a massage chair to my pain cave for recovery/movie sessions
I’d go for a set of normatecs first
.
I don’t use a chair, but I recently purchased a Pure Wave CM-7 hand massager. Holy crap, it’s fantastic. I wasn’t sure I’d like it and it took me a few uses to get used to it, but it really helps to work out my tight legs, chest after strength workouts, neck, and arms. I haven’t figured it out yet for the lower back and haven’t sorted out the technique for between the shoulders on my own, but I’m incredibly pleased. The best part is that I can use it anywhere. The biggest downfall is getting it from my wife or 6 year old when I need to use it.

I have one of the cheap ones that just does your back. I spend a lot of time in front of a computer and sometimes sore muscles make it hard to sleep. Fifteen minutes on the massager loosens things up enough that I sleep like a baby. So while the massage may not necessarily do anything for my recovery/performance, a better night’s sleep certainly does.
