I was watching a guy on YouTube magnet fishing from a bridge. This lead to several questions.
I assume they are looking for treasures, what do they do with all the crap they pull out?
In one afternoon from one spot on one bridge this guy pulled out six (SIX!) tire irons. What is going on? Do people get so enraged from their flat tire that they throw the tire iron into the river? Is tire iron tossing a fun game in this town? Seriously, WTF is happening that there are six tire irons in the river, basically in one spot?
Considering how long it takes for metal to rust out and degrade I’m not surprised that over the decades a handful of people might have thrown/lost irons in a somewhat popular spot.
He may be an imbecile, but as per Tyler’s arguments is that *really * a good reason to vote for two totally unqualified people like a current VP and governor???
I used to live near the Neponset River in Dorchester, where the bridge goes over into Quincy. That was always rumored to be where Whitey disposed of evidence (and bodies). I’m pretty sure there are any number of guns that got tossed into the river right along where I used to jog all the time through Pope John Paul II Park.
On a nighttime jog I once saw some troublemaker-looking teens see me, and then frantically pitch some stuff into the river there. I assumed that they were getting rid of drugs that they were slinging (I’ve been told I look vaguely cop-like).
