I’ve found a couple cheap ones around. Does anyone have any experience with them?
Thanks,

The KHS Flite 100 Track Bike is an excellent bike. My wife rides a 2005 model (yellow) and she had one of the older orange ones previpusly too which I rode all the time. We had bought it for $100 used. On both bikes we changed the wheels, one had Mavic rims and Surly hubs and the new one has the Mavic Ellipse wheel set which are sick. I asked my wife if she wanted a new Felt Track bike which was aluminum and lighter and looked really cool and she said there is no way she would give up the stell ride of the KHS on the track. I have to admit that it is super smooth, even when I ride it on the streets, what a difference between the steel ride and aluminum. You get a lot of power out of the bike too. I have seen people race really well on this bike and beat people on Cervelos, Felt’s etc. On the track it really does not matter what you are riding. It is all about engine and tactics. All is all there are not too many choices in that price range either. The bike has Reynolds tubing which is great tubing and the bike has some good cranks on it. Other than wheels that is your track bike. Hope this helps.
Like the entry level Bianchi, it is a great tool for fixed gear training.
For the next level and for track racing, look at the Felt, Fuji, older Cannondale, Pista Concept (nicer Bianchi) or pretty much anything with REAL track cranks and REAL track hubs.
Enjoy the ride!
